Today, September 10th we made it official and we mailed off our paperwork to officially start the journey of adopting another baby from Ethiopia. We are excited to be in the process again and will be keeping this blog up to date with our adoption journey. As soon as our paperwork is processed (backgrounds re-checked) we will be assigned our social worker (hopefully the one we have been working with) and we will meet with her once and be officially waiting. They are estimating the process to take 12-18 months before we would get a referral and then 3 months to travel after the referral. The wait is longer this time so we are just buckling our seat belts and patiently waiting on the Lord to bring our last child to our home.
Here are a few pictures of the girls mailing off the big packet of paperwork.
Well we tried to take one of the two girls (Jaxon opted out of this picture) but Tseganesh is not interested in taking a picture - just running the opposite direction
Landry proudly holding the paperwork
Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains."
James 5:7 (NIV)
